VI Negotiation and Mediation Tournament for Business Professionals

Jurors

Participants of the tournament will compete in teams and individually.

Their task will be to conduct negotiations or mediation based on the received scenario, prepared by negotiation and mediation experts.

 

The participants of the Tournament will be assessed by a selected jury. It consists only of outstanding experts in the field of Business Negotiations and Commercial Mediation. We invite you to get to know them better.

VP Hitachi Energy Poland
Currently managing a largescale Hub of Hitachi Energy in Krakow, brings as well almost 20 years of Global Procurement and Supply Chain Management experience. He has both built and run various purchasing organizations varying from site purchasing team, shared service centers, centers of expertise, dispersed category teams up to and including comprehensive Global Procurement network. In his career, following an idea of global mobility Mateusz has gained experience in well recognized multinational companies from automotive, aerospace, railway, marine, electronics and industrial automation sectors. Being always passionate about Procurement, his key areas of expertise are: competency models, category management, negotiations and recently ESG area. You can also find him sharing his knowledge as a tutor and visiting professor at the Jagiellonian University and WSZiB in Krakow.
Krzysztof Michel Fortaco

Graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Wrocław University of Economics and Business in the field of International Business, Executive MBA at Nottingham Trent University and Wielkopolska Business School at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, and postgraduate studies in Commercial Law at the University of Wrocław, and Corporate Finance Management at the Warsaw School of Economics. From 2022, Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS). He has over 20 years of experience in leading direct, indirect and investment procurement teams at the regional and global level as well as building and developing multinational procurement and supplier development (SQD) departments gained in the automotive industry and "off-highway" vehicle components production segment. Additionally, he has several years of experience in leading and development of IT department as well as SAP implementation management. Privately, the father of two daughters, the fan of fantasy and science-fiction movies, the collector of fridge magnets who likes to spend his free time skiing, running or working in the garden.

As VP Procurement Operations he holds end-to-end responsibility for all procurement-related activities involving direct and indirect materials across over 40 manufacturing plants spread across four continents. In his role, Mikołaj provides global leadership, strategic direction, and drives the execution of procurement activities, working alongside Global Procurement and cross-functional teams. With over 20 years of negotiation experience built at Delphi Thermal Systems, Mahle Behr, Aptiv, and finally at GKN Automotive, Mikołaj has a proven track record of developing talented teams in diverse international environments, with a strong focus on performance and business needs. He is dedicated to promoting business acumen and an enterprise-wide perspective within procurement teams, with a key focus on value creation for the company’s bottom line. Currently based in Germany, Mikołaj has also worked in Poland, Hungary, the USA, and Luxembourg.
Agnieszka Niedziółka

Agnieszka Niedziółka

Head of Digital Procurement Programme, IAG GBS
A graduate of the Institute of Economics at the University of Economics in Krakow, specializing in International Trade, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS). She has been involved in procurement since 2014, primarily in the FMCG and aviation sectors. Since 2017, she has been working in the procurement department for International Airlines Group, currently focusing on digitization. Previously, as the Director of Tactical Procurement at IAG GBS, she led a team supporting sourcing across the entire group, covering nearly all procurement categories including MRO, IT, Corporate, Customer, Hotels, Lounges, and Airport Operations. Her responsibilities also included contract management for the group and enhancements in reporting processes. Additionally, she oversees the Talent Program in IAG's procurement department in Poland. On a personal note, she is the mother of an energetic five-year-old, and enjoys traveling, trekking, functional training, and indulging in literature and films.

Responsible for managing Sodexo business in Poland. Has over 20 years of experience in the field of Facility Management and integrated workplace solutions. Striving to fully understand the client's needs allows Marta to design effective and innovative solutions, often going beyond the traditionally understood industry standards. Building talented teams and creating an environment that allows employees to develop are the key factors of her success. As she believes that happy people do business, she puts particular emphasis on wellbeing. Marta translated this approach also to client relations, working with them to create a work space focused on the wellbeing of its users. In her free time, she is a music lover and a frequent visitor to cultural events.

For more than 20 years, he has worked on the development of overseas markets and global clients in more than 30 countries: Europe, USA, Australia, Mexico, South Africa, India. Currently at Webcon. He negotiates contracts and oversees international projects, working with major Fortune 500 companies and is actively involved in key projects in the fuel, retail, airline and automotive industries. Graduate of the Cracow University of Economics - Management and Marketing and MBA at the Polish Open University / Oxford Brookes University, Certified Loyalty Marketing Proffesional (CLMP) . Privately, a father of two daughters, passionate about team sports: beach volleyball and basketball, and a lover of jazz.

Przemysław Roth

Ex Managing Director, Dyson Business Services
For over 20 years he has been working in an international environment in key management positions, of which he spent several years in France, Spain and Italy. He has extensive experience in the areas of finance, purchasing and operational management in the automotive, food, marine, aviation and consulting industries. Recently, as the Managing Director of the Center, he was developing Dyson's operations in Poland. Privately, he likes to spend time walking with his family in the mountains and flying gliders.

Graduate of University of Technology in Kielce, as well as the Warsaw School of Economics in the field of Purchasing Managers. As an experienced and long-standing procurement professional, currently playing the role of Procurement Director, being responsible for securing the plants with the necessary raw materials, goods and services, ensuring continuity of production while maintaining maximum cost and transaction efficiency. He values passion and commitment, and he is inspired by experts in their field - people who can talk about difficult things in a simple way, while maintaining the audience's interest.
Artur Wielgocki

Senior Manager – LEAN Transformation, TechnipFMC
Over the past 12 years, he has been affiliated with TechnipFMC, holding various global positions that have significantly contributed to the company's success. He is currently responsible for transformational projects. Previously, he served as Senior Procurement Manager. In 2019, he participated in establishing a procurement center for TechnipFMC in Krakow. Under his leadership, the Krakow team became an integral part of the organization, supporting its global operations and introducing efficiency and standardization. Outside of his professional life, he greatly enjoys his role as a father to two boys. He values spending time participating in street and trail running events. He also enjoys immersing himself in the sounds of good jazz or the flavors of Brazilian cuisine.
